Özie is a photography student from Rotterdam with a background in law, currently studying at the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU). She creates images in various styles, including documentary, fine art and graphic photography.
Her work focuses primarily on human connection. She produces images using a range of media and techniques—photography, video, fabric and collages— and incorporates multiple languages within her work.
Her work is informed by contemporary and non‑contemporary fashion, diverse cultural traditions, philosophical inquiry and social issues across multiple regions.
